The filter insert comprises a stack of flat elements on a coaxial centring member. Filter gaps are formed between adjacent one by flat distance-plates, and connect the inside and outside. End plates bearing against the stack are pulled together by a central tie bolt passing through the insert. The distance-pieces and at least the outside of the centring member are of electrically-insulating material, while the elements are electrically connected together alternately.
