PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING THE COOKING PROCESS IN A STEAM PRESSURE COOKER

The arrangement controls the roasting or cooking brought about by a vapour pressure cooker through determn. of the temp. and control of the heating power of the heating element. In the heating up phase the temp. -time characteristics of the overall system is assessed. The period of time as from attainment of the temp. of 90 deg.C for the beginning of the vapour phase until reaching the vapourisation temp. of 100 deg.C is measured. A temp. sensor can be used for the temp. in or on the vapour pressure cooking vessel. With it there can be a logic circuit for deriving the rise in the output signal.
