Disclosed is a small signal processor in a circumscription compensator. The processor comprises an output selector, the first inputter, the second inputter and a multiplexer. The output selector generates a displacement signal for a medium step, selects a corresponding signal in the input signals which is divided at least one area according to the size of image signal, and outputs the selected signal. The first inputter inputs the external signals, and outputs the first area signal according to the reference level. The second inputter generates the second area signal according to the displacement signal. The multiplexer generate a zero signal whose volatge is always zero, and selectively outputs the first, second and zero signals. Thereby, the noise and high frequency component can be reduced, so that the picture quality is improved
