PURPOSE:To obtain uniform mixture by a kneader in which long and short blades are provided to rotors rotating oppositely to each other in a mixing chamber so as to flow substances to be mixed toward the center by setting up the blade length ratio of both the long and short blades and the axial propulsive force ratio for substance to be mixed of both the blades to respective specific values. CONSTITUTION:The long and short blades 4 and 5, each having an oppositely directioned spiral form so as to send substances to be mixed to the central part, are provided to a pair of the parallel rotors 2 and 3 rotating oppositely to each other. For the long and short blades 4 and 5, the length ratio is set up to 0.48-0.1 and the torsion angle of the spiral is such that the axial propulsive force ratio for substance to be mixed is in a range of 0.7-0. Thus, the flow of substances to be mixed in the axial direction is directed oppositely by both the rotors and therefore the uniformity of the mixture is improved. In addition, the flow of the mixture in the axial direction is accelerated by the alternate pushing and returning action and the axial cutbacking action of the blades and also the stagnation of the mixture at the ends of the shat can be prevented. |
