A cooked sandwich-type snack is made by frying in deep oil a hollow bread structure filled with three types of chopped meat, e.g., poultry, pork or beef. The meat is mixed with onions and additives such as curry powder, paprika, salt, sugar and glutamate. Vegetables are also added. Cooking is at 180-200 deg.C, pref. with the adjustability provided by gas heating. The components are supplied in sequence rather than as an initial mixt. Cooking time is 15-25 mins..
