PURPOSE:To make a cuckoo clock thin and small and to facilitate assembling by providing a supporting rod rotatably to a slider than slides on a rail and housing a cuckoo body sideways in a box and thereby making depth of the clock box small. CONSTITUTION:The slider 4 is attached slidably to the rail 2 and a supporting rod 6 and two bars 16 for door opening and closing are provided in the upper part. The supporting rod 6 is L-shaped and attached rotatably to the slider 4, and a cuckoo body fitting rod 11 is connected rotatably to the tip through a pin 8, and the cuckoo body 24 is attached to the upper center of the cuckoo body fitting rod 11. When the slider is pushed to the front, the bars 16 for opening and closing door open a left door 20 and a right door 18. While the doors are opened by about 1/3, the cuckoo body 24 turns largely. Further, the cuckoo body 24 is pushed out to the outside of the window frame while turning slowly to the front. When the slider 4 is pulled back to inside, the left door 20 and right door 18 are closed slowly by the bars 16 for opening and closing door, and the cuckoo body 24 is housed in the original position while turning sideways little by little. |
