摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a polycarbonate molded item exhibiting little yellowing caused by irradiation with radiation in air or without oxygen by molding a polycarbonate resin compsn. prepd. by compounding an arom. polycarbonate contg. a specified constitutional unit with a thioether. CONSTITUTION:The title molded item is obtd. by molding a resin compsn. prepd. by compounding an arom. polycarbonate polymer or oligomer contg. a constitutional unit derived from a halogenated bisphenol in the molecule (e.g. a copolymerized polycarbonate resin of bisphenol A and tetrabromobisphenol A) and a thioether of the formula [wherein R1 and R2 are each a 1-10C alkylene; n is a positive number of 1-100 on an average; X1 and X2 are each H, OH, COOH, OR, COOR (wherein R is a 1-20C alkyl)] (e.g. 2,2'-thiodiethanol). As said molded item exhibits excellent radiation resistance and little yellowing against gamma-ray in air and without oxygen, it is useful for artificial dialyzers, artificial lungs, blood transfusion sets, etc., which are radiation-sterilized.
