RADIO FREQUENCY ECL VOLTAGE CONTROL RING OSCILLATOR

PURPOSE: To secure the consistent changes of the resistance loads of all input devices and, at the same time, to make the resistance load of an ECL(emitter- coupled logic) input device changeable when the resistance load of one input device changes by changing a bias current for controlling a phase lag. CONSTITUTION: An ECL gate 100 is constituted so that the bias current impressed upon the gate 100 can change. This makes it possible to change the propagation lag of the gate 100 by means of an input control voltage. Since the propagation lag is controlled in such a way, the ECL gate 100 can be used when a voltage-controlled oscillator is applied.
