<p>PURPOSE:To arbitrary select initialization, keeping of contents stored in a RAM, or reset by providing a one-chip microcomputer with three kinds of reset terminal and selectively using these terminals. CONSTITUTION:The reset signal from a reset terminal R1 only initializes various registers included in a control circuit 2. The reset signal from a reset terminal R2 not only initializes various registers included in the control circuit 2 but also resets contents stored in a RAM 3. The reset signal from a reset terminal R3 only resets contents stored in the RAM 3. Thus, contents stored in the RAM 3 are arbitrarily selectively kept or reset, and it is unnecessary to provide an another RAM or a program which resets contents of the RAM.</p> |
