The signal distribution or switching block comprises a housing (1) providing a frame (4) with a number of inserted conductor rails (5...12) arranged in 2 planes extending parallel to one another and coupled to entry or exit terminals (13,17) at the rear of the ousing (1). The front of the housing (1) has a number of bores (21..25) for receiving respective contact pins (30) arranged in 3 groups (26,27,28). The inserted pins (30) are connected to the entry terminals, the exit terminals (17), or for coupling the entry and exit terminals together. ADVANTAGE - Simple modification for different applications.
