The pipe tap device for pressurised media has at least one connecting device which can be moved along a supply line in order to supply a locally variable consumer. The connector device (AV) has two connecting units (A1,A2) which are mounted to move along the supply line (SL) and which are provided with drive means (AMa,AMb). The connecting units can be moved relative to each other and are connected to stud position detectors. The latter activate coded position signal generators according to different stud work positions. The connecting units (A1,A2) are connected to a common consumer connection (VA) by a pipe assembly (LA). A control unit (STV) which is operated by the consumer side and is in active connection with the drive means is used to lead each one of the two connecting units to an adjoining tap point. ADVANTAGE - Two separate but coordinated connecting units allow free mobility along supply line without a break in supply.
