PURPOSE:To automate the reconstitution of the system by implementing provision of an address number to each transmission unit and separation or coupling of transmission paths automatically in the case of extension, reduction or recombination of plural transmission units connecting to a loop transmission line. CONSTITUTION:For example, a transmission unit 1a is selected as a master unit and an address number of the master unit 1a is set as '#1'. Then a transmission control means 6a outputs information representing an address number '#2' to address transmission lines 5a-5n. A transmission control means 6b receives the address information sent from the master unit 1a and sets it as the address number '#2' of its own unit 1b. Then the transmission control means 6a outputs the information representing an address number '#3' to the address transmission lines 5a-5n, a transmission control means 6c of a transmission unit 1c receives the address information this time and sets the address number of its own unit 1c as '#3'. Thus, the transmission among all the units 1a-1n is attained. |
