PURPOSE:To easily detect whether or not a passenger utilizing a wheelchair is present in a cage and further eliminating waste service by constituting a device in such a way as by detecting the presence of a passenger using a wheelchair in an elevator cage by means of a light emitting unit installed on the wheelchair side and a light receiving unit installed in the cage. CONSTITUTION:By a light receiver 2 receiving a beam of light from a projector 1, a contact 2-a operates to actuate a wheelchair detecting relay 3 for detecting the presence of a wheelchair. Next, when a contact 3-a is actuated, and a hal call detecting contact 4, is closed No.10 terminal of an operation control circuit 5 receives an input and output a pass operation command to a hall call. Next, in the case of ordinary operation with no wheelchair user, No.20 terminal of the operation control circuit 5 receives an input and outputs a command responding to the hall call. |
