PURPOSE: To form an image capable of being detected by an optical character recognition(OCR) device easily by juxtaposing image forming components and a plurality of complementary image forming components and applying a pressure to a specified part on a carbonless copy slip thereby forming a color image at a corresponding part of a recording substrate. CONSTITUTION: When a carrying recording substrate 12 is superposed on a transfer substrate 14, image forming components 16 are juxtaposed to first and second complementary image forming components 18, 20 and brought into pressure-sensitive contact state. When a pressure is applied to a part on the substrate 14 carrying the first complementary component 18, corresponding part at a microcapsule containing the component 18 is ruptured to release the dye precursors thereof which react with the image forming components 16 on the recording substrate 12 to form a standard color image thereon. Similarly, When a pressure is applied to a part on the substrate 14 carrying the second complementary component 20, a color image detectable through an OCR device is formed on the recording substrate 12 through reaction with the image forming components 16 thereon. |
