The invention concerns a brush unit comprising a stand, a brush 10 cooperating with the stand and mounted rotatably thereon, and a drive device adapted to give the brush 10 a rotating movement, the brush consisting of a centrally arranged middle part 11 from which a number of bristles 12 extend. In one end section of each middle part 11 there is a first part 13 of a coupling arrangement 14. In one end section of a middle part 21 for an auxiliary brush 20 there is a second part 15 of a coupling arrangement.
