PURPOSE: To obtain the subject preparation, comprising a fibroblast growth factor and hyaluronic acid (salt) and having good and quick healing effects on wounds at the time of healing the wounds even in the case of insufficiently healed wounds. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation comprises (A) a fibroblast growth factor which is a group of basic or acidic polypeptides acting as a mitogen for an endothelial cell and (B) hyaluronic acid and/or its physiologically permissible salt (preferably an Na salt). The amounts of the ingredients are 10<-5> to 1wt.%, preferably 10<-4> to 10<-3> wt.% ingredient A and 0.05-5wt.%, preferably 0.2-2wt.% ingredient B. The resultant pharmaceutical preparation can be used to treat wounds injured by capillary functions in which normal healing is especially interrupted (e.g. diabetic angiopathy, burn injury or ulcer after thrombosis). |
