A remote radio-control device for a motor drive system of a gate wing with a mobile push-button operated transmitter and a receiver arranged on the gate or drive system which, when a button is pressed on the transmitter (1), causes the drive system to move the gate wing in one or other direction or take it to an intermediate stopped position and which is arranged to ensure the triggered direction of travel of the gate wing, even without any knowledge of the movement previously made, in such a way that the transmitter (1) has two separately operable push-buttons (4, 5), one of wh ich gives a signal to close the gate wing and the other a signal to open it, where, in a preferred embodiment, the simultaneous actuation of both buttons (4, 5) generates a signal to stop the gate wing.
