The accerleration limiting value switch (11) provided with an inertia body (14a), is arranged so that with the acting of the acceleration force it slides along a sloping side wall of an inner chamber of the switch housing (26). The inertia body (14a) lies on an arm (28) of the rocker type body (25) in its basic position, and a magnet (17) is arranged at the body (25), which works in conjunction with a magnetic field responsive element (22), e.g. a Hall transmitter or Reed switch. USE/ADVANTAGE - Acceleration limiting value switch. Esp. resistant to shaking and with simple, robust and favourably priced construction.
