Inclination sensor for vibrating underground mining machines - has two pendulum potentiometric sensors with liquids of different viscosities providing adjustable damping

An inclinometer for systems subject to strong vibrations has two liq. damped, pendulum potentiometric sensors (2,3) with associated electronic boards mounted on a chassis plate. Both sensors can be rotated on the base of a steel plate housing through +/- 15 deg. Liquids of different viscosities in the housing provide variable adjustable damping directly at the measurement position. The electronic boards are mounted in a separate housing connected to the steel plate housing via a cable. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for underground mining and tunnelling machines. Accurate.
