PURPOSE:To reduce the noise leaked to the outside of an engine room by fitting a plate-shaped noise insulating member above multiple suction distribution pipes passing above a head cover, and forming a wind guide path between the noise insulating member and the intake distribution pipes. CONSTITUTION:A noise insulating member 55 is fitted above intake distribution pipes 35 passing above a head cover 23, and a wind guide path 61 extended in the longitudinal direction of an engine room is formed between the member 55 and the adjacent distribution pipe 35. An opening section 38 opened toward the front of the engine room is provided at the front end of this wind guide path 61. Since the member 55 is inserted between a valve system 29 and an engine hood 3, the noise radiated upward from around the system 29 is shielded at the inside of the engine hood 3, a space is formed between the member 55 and the distribution pipe 55, and the noise radiated upward from the system 29 is diffused in the above space and damped. During running, the running wind flows backward along the distribution pipes 35 in the wind guide path 61 and cools the distribution pipes 35.
