The wire circlip (1) comprises tensioner with a head (6) able to freely rotate on the lug (3) of a screw (2) for holding the wire at the crossing point of the strands surrounding the object to be tightened. A nut (4) has a cavity (5) which clamps and holds one end of a pre-shaped collar. When the screw is rotated it moves the nut relative to the head along an axis identical to that of the wire free branch.
