Edge liner for paint can

The edge liner (1) formed of plastics material is fitted over the edge (3) of the can (4). It has a peripheral collar (2) with a cover section (6) for the edge of the can. At least two sections are connected to the inner face of the collar to form an agitator (7a-c) and a support (8) for the brush (15). The agitator is connected to the collar by bridge sections (10) which can be frangible. The agitator has two sections, a sleeve (7a) and a section forming the agitator (7b,c).
