The invention relates to a lifting appliance for moving loads back and forth, e.g. containers with parts to be assembled on the band. It consists of two planes, the bottom plane having a platform or slide hanging on lifting gear and guided in guides which, due to their configuration, permit the inclination of the platform for the best ergonomic mode of operation, in which arrangement the guide elements can be designed to be exchangeable.
