The insulating fitting for pipes comprises a frame (1) with foot plate (2), a parallel load-absorbing bearing plate (5,6) and support plates at right angles. The bearing plate is divided into a right (5) and left (6) plate with a carrier part (10) set in between. This carrier part is formed by a rectangular pipe section having on the long sides a left and right welded support wing (14,13) which are each supported on damper plates which are placed on the bearing plates (5,6). Side walls running at right angles are mounted at the free ends of the support wings (13, 14). The side walls are supported with the interposition of damper plates (21,22) against side plates which are mounted on the outsides of the bearing plates (5,6). The front' and rear end walls of the side plates are supported by screw-in tension screws (25) and pretension plates (23,24) against front and rear end plates (3,4) with intermediate pretensionable damper plates (17,18).
