In the case of a vehicle having an armoured body 90 and a platform 107 (which is carried by the said body 19 and can be extended and rotated) for observation and/or firing equipment 108, the platform 107 (including the apparatus 108 arranged thereon) is configured so that it can be completely lowered into the body 90. The platform is articulated on the rear of a crew cabin 97 via a parallel guide rod 106, which, for its part, is fitted at the end of a telescopic arm 100.
