PURPOSE: To obtain a randomized palm oil compsn. which enables good absorption same as human milk and is preferable as a complete nutrition formulation for infants, by preparing the compsn. from specified amt. of randomized palmitic acid oil, lauric acid oil, oleic acid oil and linoleic acid oil. CONSTITUTION: This oil compsn. is a whole vegetable oil compsn. consisting of (A) 20 to 35% randomized palmitic acid oil, (B) 25 to 31% lauric acid oil such as palm oil, babassu oil, pal core oil, (C) 28 to 35% oleic acid oil such as olive oil, cotton seed oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, canola oil, and (D) 8 to 17% linoleic acid oil such as corn oil, cotton seed oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil. The oil amt. is included per 100 pts.wt. of whole fatty acid which is present as a triglyceride, 10 to 18 pts.wt. lauric acid, 13 to 24 palmitic acid, 2 to 5 stearic acid, 30 to 45 pts.wt. oleic acid, and 11 to 24 pts.wt. lenoleic acid. |
