PURPOSE: To increase a capacity per unit volume also extend a life and make suited for a portable equipment or the like, by forming a positive electrode by niobium triselenide, for forming, heating Nb2 Se3 in a temperature range generating the niobium triselenide, when a nonaqueous battery is constituted by a negative electrode, a separator, a positive electrode and electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A nonaqueous battery is constituted by a related part 10, a lithium negative electrode 11, a separator 12, 14, and a positive electrode 13 of a wound cylindrical battery. Here, the positive electrode 13 is formed by heating niobium triselenide, this time temperature range is set to 500 to 780 deg.C or 630 to 690 deg.C or 650 to 680 deg.C. Nb2 Se3 converted in niobium triselenide is powder, to be made in slurry, after deposition on a base unit, liquid is removed from the slurry. Here, the base unit is alumina, quartz, aluminum, etc. In the liquid in the slurry, propylene glycol is used. |
