PURPOSE:To obtain a skin drug for external use, containing at least one selected from an aloe extract solution and extract powder and at least one selected from ellagic acid-based compounds and alkali metal salts thereof and excellent in anti-inflammatory, wound curing and skin roughening preventive effects with high safety. CONSTITUTION:A skin drug for external use containing (A) 0.01-5wt.% at least one selected from an aloe extract solution and extract powder and (B) 0.005-5wt.% at least one selected from compounds expressed by formula I (R1 to R4 are H, 1-20C alkyl, alkoxy, polyoxyethylene or polyoxypropylene residue or saccharide residue expressed by formula II; R5 is H, OH or 1-8C alkoxy) and alkali metal salts thereof. Basic amino acid or monosaccharides in an amount of 0.005-20wt.% can be added to the above-mentioned pharmaceutical for better dispersing the component (B) and an oil, water, surfactant, humectant and other additives, as desired, can be further blended therewith. |
