PURPOSE:To prevent slippage of drive wheel effectively by predicting occurrence of slippage of drive wheel based on the current value of a power steering motor, then correcting the soft start constant. CONSTITUTION:A steering motor control system 1 controls current to be fed to a power steering motor 14 according to the outputs from a steering torque sensor 11 and a power steering current sensor 15. A drive wheel anti-slip device 3 operates the drive wheel load based on the value of torque being applied onto the steering and the duty factor being employed for control of the power steering motor 14, and the soft start constant of a soft starter 23 is corrected to an optimal value according to the drive wheel load. Consequently, the soft start constant is corrected optimally according to the load to be applied onto the steering wheel/drive wheel based on the operated value of drive wheel load and the pavement frictional coefficient. |
