PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of driving of an ultrasonic driver by connecting an AC power source to one piezoelectric element, connecting an impedance to the other piezoelectric element, and varying it. CONSTITUTION:In an ultrasonic driver, piezoelectric elements 1-2 are interposed among metal blocks 3-5, and clamped with bolts 6-7. An AC power source 10 is connected between one electrodes 8 and 9, and a variable inductance 12 is connected between the other electrode 11 and a ground. As a result, an AC voltage is applied from the power source 10 to drive a stator 13 by the element 1, and the resonance frequency of the longitudinal vibration of the impedance 12 is varied to rotate a rotor 14. |
