<p>PURPOSE:To surely initialize a controller LSI without the alternation and setting of a dip switch, etc., by automatically initializing the controller LSI when a monitor is connected. CONSTITUTION:Output means 41, 43, 45 and 47, which output inherent signals corresponding to the types of monitors 21, 23, 25 and 27, are provided at connectors 31, 33, 35 and 37 on the monitor side. Further a setting means 15, which discriminates the types of the monitors 21, 23, 25 and 27 based on the inherent signals and sets the output of a control means 13 on a device main body 11 side corresponding to the types, is provided. That is, the register value of the control register of the controller LSI constituting the control means 13 is initialized. Thus a data processor, which automatically initializes the controller LSI when the monitor is connected, is obtained.</p> |
