PURPOSE:To obtain the title apparatus capable of accurately performing the positioning of a balloon catheter without requiring experienced skill by comparing the electrocardiogram corresponding to the image taken-in presently with the electrocardiogram corresponding to a reference image. CONSTITUTION:When a reference image is taken-in, an electrocardiogram is simultaneously taken-in to be recorded in an electrocardiographic wave memory 14 in corresponding to the reference image and the electrocardiogram corresponding to the image taken-in presently is compared with the electrocardiogram corresponding to the reference image taken out of the memory 14 by a comparator 17 and the coincidence of both electrocardiograms is confirmed and the reference image corresponding to said electrocardiogram is selected to be displayed along with the image taken-in presently. By this method, the positioning of PTCA at the time of the insertion of a balloon catheter can be accurately performed without requiring experienced skill. |
