PURPOSE:To observe the whole or most of candidates by displaying the candidates at a smaller character size than the prescribed character size when the number of candidate characters is larger than the number of the characters displayable at the prescribed character size. CONSTITUTION:A comparing means, which compares the number of the candidate characters with the number of the characters displayable at the prescribed character size, and a control means 23, which displays the candidate characters at the smaller character size than the prescribed character size when the number of the candidate characters is larger than that of the candidate characters displayable at a full size in a display area, are provided. When the number of the candidate characters is larger than that of the characters displayable at the prescribed character size in the display area, the candidates are displayed at the smaller character size than the prescribed character size. Thus the whole or most of the candidates can be observed, and the candidates can be easily confirmed. |
