摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently separate and recover thallium in an electrolytic soln. without requiring the addition of sulfuric acid as pretreatment by adding an iodide to the electrolytic soln. based on hydrosilicofluoric acid. CONSTITUTION:An iodide such as HI or KI is added to an electrolytic soln. based on hydrosilicofluoric acid and contg. tin, lead and thallium. The pref. amt. of the iodide added is 1.0-1.2 equiv. basing on the amt. of the thallium. Thallium concentrated in the electrolytic soln. by electrolysis with crude lead contg. lead and tin as the anode is precipitated as thallium iodide and this thallium iodide is separated and recovered. The remaining soln. is reused as an electrolytic soln. as it is.</p>
