PURPOSE:To obtain a porcelain capacitor which has a high dielectric constant and a dielectric porcelain whose temperature changing rate of the dielectric constant is small over a broad temperature range by specifying the composition of the dielectric porcelain containing a basic component and an added component in the specified range. CONSTITUTION:This porcelain comprises a basic component of 100.0 weight parts and an added component of 0.2-5.0 weight parts. The basic component is (1-alpha){(Bak-xMx)OkTiO2}+alphaCaZrO3. In the formula, M is at least one metal of Mg and Zn. The value of alpha is 0.005-0.04, (k) is 1.00-1.05 and (x) is 0.01-0.10. These values are satisfied. The added component comprises B2O3, SiO2 and MO within the range of the figure. MO is at least one kind of metal of BaO, SrO, CaO, MgO and ZnO. In the formula showing the basic component, k-x, (x) and (k) represent the atomic numbers of the respective elements, and (1-alpha) and alpha indicate the ratio of (Bak-xMx)OkTiO2 and CaZrO3 in mol. In this way, the temperature changing rate can be made small and the dielectric constant can be increased. |
