PURPOSE:To appropriately provide destination display and fire escaping route guiding displays by making light sources in paving materials glow. CONSTITUTION:The light source 30b of a unit paving member 30 at the intersection of a power line 30d selected by means of a power supply switching section 40 and another power line 30e selected by means of an earthing switching section 42 lights. Therefore, when the sections 40 and 42 are controlled by means of a controlling section 44, destination display can be performed by using a paving material. When, for example, grounding lines 30e are successively grounded from the lowest one by means of the section 42 while a power supply voltage is being applied across the power line 30d on the second row from the right side by means of the power supply switching section 40, the unit paving members 30 on the second row from the right side successively light from the bottom as shown by hatched lines. When the grounding lines 30e are slowly switched, a course display is made and, when the lines 30e are switched at a high speed, a fire escaping route is displayed. |
