PURPOSE:To sufficiently remove noise by providing a coefficient output means changing the frame correlation coefficient of a frame correlation processing means. CONSTITUTION:A frame correlation circuit receives an input frame image signal and multiplies said image signal by a frame correlation coefficient to perform frame correlation processing and outputs the processed image signal to a frame memory. A coefficient output circuit 5 calculates the difference between the input frame image signal and the previous image signal of the frame memory to output the correlation coefficient corresponding to the difference to a frame correlation circuit 14. That is, the input frame image signal is subjected to correlation processing on the basis of the frame correlation coefficient corresponding to movement. In this case, by determining the correlation coefficient corresponding to the difference between the input image signal and the previous image signal when the image signal is subjected to correlation processing, sufficient noise removal effect is held and the blur corresponding to movement can be prevented. |
