<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture the soft steel wire rod having excellent workability and free from the generation of age hardening by preparing a steel wire rod contg. specified ratios of C, Si, Mn, Al, O, N and V. CONSTITUTION:A soft steel wire rod contg., by weight, <=0.02% C, <=0.03% Si, 0.1 to 1.0% Mn, 0.001 to 0.010% Al, <=0.015% O, 0.0015 to 0.005% N and 4XN(%) to 15XN(%) V and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is prepd. The wire rod is useful as an annealed steel wire rod, a steel wire rod for zinc plating and a wire rod for a wire net inserted to sheet glass or the like for reinforcing.</p> |
