PURPOSE:To widen the light distribution scope, ensure light shutting as countermeasure for glaring, and enhance the illumination factor with good proportion by installing a pair of light sources arranged so that their longitudinal directions are put alongside the sides of a lighting fixture concerned, and allowing the outbound beams of light from the light sources to make emission in the mutually intersecting directions at approx. 90 degrees of below to plumb line. CONSTITUTION:A pair of light sources 17, 18 are installed close to the insides of the two side-face parts 13 of a lighting fixture concerned 11 in such an arrangement that their longitudinal directions are put alongside these side-face parts 13, wherein the outbound beams from these light sources 17, 18 make emission at the outbound angle theta in the opposite direction to the side-face parts 13 mating at approx 90 degrees or below to plumb line (a), i.e. in the mutually intersecting direction with respect to the road surface as irradiated object. This widens the illumination scope to the left and right, and the beams of light emitted from the light sources 17, 18 and released through an irradiation opening 12 will be below approx. 90 degrees to plumb line. Thereby the illumination scope in the extent below is enlarged to the left and right to provide well proportioned illumination, and also elimination of beams dispersed upward should enhance the illumination factor. |
