PURPOSE:To manufacture inexpensively a vessel having an arbitrary shape such as an animal or a plant, by a method wherein a bottom plate having an arbitrary outer circumferential shape is formed by making use of a material capable of performing hot press holding, an annular beltlike member is formed by making use of a material capable of performing elastic deformation, which is deformed elastically into an outer circumferential form of the bottom plate, pressure-contacted thermally to the bottom plate and made into an edge frame. CONSTITUTION:A bottom plate 2, for example, a heartlike state is manufactured of a polysturene sheet 4 having a fixed thickness by making use of a blanking die. On the other hand, foaming polystyrol is manufactured into a beltlike state whose width is the same as a height of a vessel, which is cut every outer circumferential dimensions of the bottom plate and then an annular beltlike member 5 is manufactured by joining both ends of the beltlike foaming polystyrol with an adhesive agent or hot press bonding. When the annular beltlike member 5 is manufactured in this manner, the beltlike member 5 is deformed elastically into a heart shape with a clamping mold and a heart-shaped beltlike member 6 is superposed upon the bottom plate 2 and pressure-contacted thermally. Then an edge frame 3 is held into an outer circumferential shape of the bottom plate 2 by harmonizing elastic restoration force of the edge frame 3 with binding force of the bottom plate 2. |
