<p>PURPOSE:To enable to always operate a shipboard generator at a constant speed by associating a boost pump operated always at the constant speed with a variable volume type hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor. CONSTITUTION:A shipboard generator 1 is coupled through a joint 2 to a hydrualic motor 3, a variable volume type hydraulic pump 4 for discharging hydrualic oil always sucked (or urged) irrespective of the variation in the rotating speed is coupled through an axial joint 5 to a marine main engine 6, while a motor 7 which is controlled always at the constant speed is coupled directly to a boost pump 9 through an axial joint 8. Hydraulic oil discharged from the pump 9 is fed through the pump 4 via a pipe to the motor 3. In this manner, the power source of constant frequency can be always obtained.</p> |
