<p>PURPOSE:To simply add/remove underlines to/from plural characters in the same manner as one character by using a control key and an underline key on a keyboard to specify the number of characters to be underlined through neumerical keys. CONSTITUTION:When an underline key KB2 on a keyboard KB of a CRT device DP is depressed, an underline is added or removed to/from only the present position of a cursor. When underlines are to be added or removed to/from plural characters continued from the present cursor position, a control key KB4 and the underline key KB2 are successively depressed and then the number of characters to be underlined is inputted through neumetical keys KB1. A controlling means is executed under control of a CPU by depressing the control key KB4 and the underline key KB2 successively.</p> |
