PURPOSE:To reduce the load on a call processing processor by repeating inter- user packet information through not only the load of the call processing processor, but also a time-division switch transparently. CONSTITUTION:A terminal-equipment side interface (subscriber circuit) 8 and a communication-network side interface (trunk circuit) 8 identify channel signal/ packet information. As a result of the identifying operation, the inter-user packet information is transmitted transparently through a switch means like the time- division switch 6 without placing any load on the call processing processor 7. Consequently, the load on the call processing processor 7 can be reduced.
