<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a simultaneous switch-off state from occurring before it happens by connecting a prohibiting means, which temporarily prohibits any switch-off of auxiliary headlights at time of retractable operation of housable headlights, to the inside of a feeder circuit of the auxiliary headlights. CONSTITUTION:During engine rotation, when housable headlights 1 and 2 are in their retractable operations, a control circuit 3 starts its operation if a lighting switch 6 is selected to a II position, and thereby these headlights 1 and 2 are exposed out of the body inside. During this exposing operating, coils 4d and 5d of relays 4 and 5 are excited and moving contacts 4c and 5c are selected to the side of normally opened contacts 4b and 5b from the side of normally closed contacts 4a and 5a, whereby lighting of the headlights 1 and 2 is kept back. Consequently, a connecting point A of resistors 9j and 9k of a prohibiting means is grounded via the normally opened contact 4b of the relay 4 during exposing operations of the headlights 1 and 2, and thereby a transistor 9d is turned to OFF. Accordingly, this prohibiting means 4 prohibits any switch-off of auxiliary headlights 7 and 8. When the headlights 1 and 2 are lighted, these auxiliary headlights 7 and 8 go out.</p> |
