SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To build up an optimum system from the standpoint of maintenability and economy by selecting properly a transmission medium after signal branching depending on the distance from a relaying point setting the system. CONSTITUTION:A relay amplifier 100 is provided with an amplification branching means 10 and an electro/optic converter(E/O converter) 103. A video signal outputted as an electric signal from the relay amplifier 100 reaches the 2nd repeater 106 of points B-D and is fetched by a reception means 107 receiving the electric signal. The relay amplifier 100, the 1st repeater and the 2nd repeater 106 are employed and an optical fiber cable 110 is extended from the output terminal 6 of the relay amplifier 100 to a point A remote from the relaying point.
