NEW RECOMBINANT LYMPHOTOXIN DERIVATIVE

PURPOSE:To increase anti-tumor action and enlarge anti-tumor action spectrum by synthesizing recombinant lymphotoxin derivative containing polypeptide connecting to NH2 end of amino acid sequence and comprising 1-28 amino acid residues. CONSTITUTION:Host such as colibacillus is transformed by using plasmid containing DNA sequence coding recombinant lymphotoxin derivative containing polypeptide connected to NH2 end of amino acid sequence and composed of 1-28 amino acid residues. Next, said transformed host is cultured in a medium and the above-mentioned recombinant lymphotoxin derivative is recovered. Resultant recombinant lymphotoxin derivative has, e.g. activity of 50-80 times of natural lymphotoxin to cell derived from human lung cancer (PC-10) and thus able to be essential active ingredient of drug composition for curing object.
