PURPOSE:To shorten the collection time of fault information and a fault processing time by permitting a diagnostic controller to request fault information to all diagnosed controllers, permitting the diagnostic controller to indicate it to be the request of fault information of the diagnosed devices and storing hardware fault information transmitted from respective diagnosed controllers. CONSTITUTION:When the diagnostic controller 30 receives a fault detection information signal from a signal line 1, the diagnostic control part 31 permits the diagnosed controllers 10 and 20 to read fault information on signal lines 14 and 24 and informs all the diagnosed controllers of the detection of the fault in the form of a display signal from a display transmission part 35. The diagnostic controller 30 continuously transmits a command code which requests the reading of fault information in the diagnosed controllers 10 and 20. They compare all the display signals of the received diagnosed controllers in discrimination display parts 15 and 25. The diagnostic controller 30 stores fault information transmitted from the diagnosed controllers 10 and 20 in a fault information buffer part 34. Thus, fault information from plural diagnosed controllers can be shortened. |
