PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-understand relation between a program flow chart and a table design document by producing both the flow chart and the document while interlocking them. CONSTITUTION:A program flow chart production means 1 produces a program flow chart data base 6 from a source program 5 and extracts a declaration sentence out of the program 5. A table design document editing means 2 analyzes the extracted declaration sentence to produce a table design document 4 and a table design document data base 3 and edits interactively the document 4. Then a program flow chart editing means 7 edits interactively the data base 6 and outputs a program flow chart 8. Then the means 7 refers to the base 3 and checks the relation with the document 4. A source program means 9 produces the program 5 from both bases 6 and 3. Thus the relation between the chart 8 and the design 4 can be easily understood.
