PURPOSE:To facilitate the inspection, repair, etc., in a processing tank by vertically moving an auxiliary tank for temporarily storing the processing liquid in the processing tank for processing a photosensitive material subjected to image exposing. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary tank 100 is integrally housed in a frame body 124 and is so constituted that the tank can be moved vertically along a guide 126. A cock 108 is opened to admit the developing soln. in a developing tank 86 at a prescribed rate into the tank 100 before a housing 12 of a plate inspection device 10 draws out a photosensitive material processing device 24. The liquid is temporarily stored therein and the liquid level in the tank 86 is lowered down to the level at which the developing soln. in the tank 86 does not overflow or splash to the outside of the tank at the time of drawing out or moving the photosensitive material processing device 24. The remaining of the processing liquid in the auxiliary tank for liquid level adjustment and a hose connected thereto is obviated in this way at the time of drawing the photosensitive material processing device out of the plate inspection device body or moving the processing device for the purpose of a jam treatment or the inspection and repair, etc., in the processing tank. |
