<p>Device for compensating the clearance between brake linings and drums which substantially reduces wear on linings and brakes while constantly maintaining an optimum clearance between said linings and drums. The device is designed to adjust the brake blocks by means of the angular displacement of the operating arm (20) in relation to the cam-support shaft (10) and clearance adjustment is accomplished by means of spring triggers (4) connected during displacement to the operating system of the cam-support shaft (10), forced against the notched periphery (12) of an intermediate ring (11) fixed to the grooved cam-support shaft end (10).</p> |
